PROCESS
OF MANUFACTURE OF BOPP SELF ADHESIVE TAPES
There
are two processes in the production of BOPP Self Adhesive Tapes
1.
Coating:
The adhesive materials are mixed with water to form an emulator
or dispersion. This is then coated into the film and is passed through
a series of heated chamber where the water in the adhesive is evaporated.
2. Slitting:
Coating process has produced a jumbo roll as large as 1080 mm width
and 6000 mm length. It is then slitted various sizes varying from
12 mm to 288 mm in width and 50 mtr to 1000 mtr in length on Turret
type automatic slitting machine.
Packing:
After slitting the jumbo tapes to various sizes, we do pack the
roll according to the size of the rolls in shrink film and then
packed in 5 Ply corrugated boxes.
